Ray S Koontz Memorial Scholarship Fund
One of the Charter members and founder of Mason Dixon Chapter of SCI passed away on August 2009. Family, Community and Members of the SCI will greatly miss him. He established him as a hunter on the family farm were he grew up working hard and learning to be a care giver of the land and animals.
Ray S. Koontz has traveled the world in search of the animals that he loved. He fell in love of Sheep where he bagged the Super Slam of Sheep. His true love was GOD, country , family, AND HUNTING! His biggest enjoyment in latter years was to hunt whitetail deer. In 2008 At the age of 92 he was still hunting whitetail He enjoyed taking his children, grand children and great grandchildren hunting and fishing.
He was a business person in Fulton, Bedford, and Mifflin Counties.
The scholarship fund is set up for all students in FULTON COUNTY. We are going to award up to THREE $1000.00 scholarships. Qualifications are as follows.
